What’s new for 2011?
 
In 2011, the Pickering Blooms program will include a number of exciting new initiatives for participants including:

  • new garden signage for participants
  • exclusive discounts to program registrants
  • seminar on native plants and recognition ceremony for participants
  • new ‘advanced’ mentorship category for past “Garden of Distinction” recipients
  • special signage for  5, 10 year etc. Award of Distinction recipients
  • updated webpage including valuable information  about naturalization and beautification

Pickering Horticultural Society receives Elsa Bethal-Haydon Award
The Pickering Horticultural Society was awarded the Elsa Bethal-Haydon Award on January 11, 2010 by the Ontario Park Association.
