August 31, 2011
The last of the bridge spans to cross traffic lanes was set in place over Pickering Parkway on August 31st. Commuters and residents have experienced little travel interruption as the Metrolinx crew completed several installations to bring the bridge this far.  Once internal finishes are completed, we look forward to the final architectural mesh wrap to complete the iconic design of the bridge.

August 2011
Downtown Pedestrian Bridge - Installation of the enclosed Pedestrian Bridge connecting Pickering GO Station to our downtown is moving forward quickly now.  Three trusses are in place, with the 4th of 7 to be put in place on August 20th.  Truss installation occurs in the middle of night with lane closures on Highway 401 kept to a minimum.

790 Kingston Road is a hive of activity as the long awaited commercial development takes shape.  The site will consist of two restaurant pads and one commercial pad, totalling approximately 25,000 square feet.

February 2011

Pickering's LEED Office Tower is getting ready to receive its first tenant this spring.  The office building will soon be connected to a three storey GO Parking structure on the north side of the tower. A crane in the distance preps the San Francisco by the Bay site for its first condominium tower.
