Pickering Downtown
Office Intensification
April 2005:
The Pickering Town Centre and City of
Pickering are proud to present an opportunity to lease prime Class A
office space in the heart of Pickering's Downtown Core.
The conceptual office tower, located
within the southwest parking lot of the Pickering Town Centre lands,
is the first of two contemplated office towers totalling 350,000
square feet. The initial offering consists of a signature office
tower as high as 20 stories and exceeding 200,000 square feet. The
actual tower would be built to suit future tenant requirements.

A more detailed marketing brochure,
highlighted with an artist's rendering of the proposed office tower,
is available upon request through the contacts listed below.
Through the City of Pickering's
future pedestrian bridge, planned to traverse Highway 401, tenants
of the office tower can boast enclosed access for employees directly
from the Pickering GO Station. Executive offices will also be
available with fabulous views of both Lake Ontario and Frenchmans
Bay.
The City of Pickering Corporate
Promotions & Economic Development Office is publicly launching
the marketing brochure highlighting this opportunity at the Corenet
Global Summit, an annual gathering of several thousand North
American real estate and site selection professionals (occurring in
Toronto April 16 to 20, 2005).
Both the proposed office tower and
planned pedestrian bridge are exciting intensification projects that
confirm the City of Pickering's recognition from the Province of
Ontario as one of a limited number of "Urban Growth
Centres" identified in the Greater Golden Horseshoe where high
intensity, mixed use development and infrastructure investment is
best focused.
