In partnership with Pine Ridge
Properties Inc., Veridian Corporation is celebrating the
construction of a new office facility on Pickering Parkway. The
facility will accommodate the company's billing and call centre
operations. Occupancy is March 2002.
The three-story building will
contribute over 30,000 square feet of premium office space to
Pickering's downtown core. Its attractive design and highly visible
location adjacent to Highway #401 will be sure to confer landmark
status on the facility.
Veridian is responsible for
distributing electricity in the City of Pickering, the Town of Ajax,
and a number of communities, including Port Hope, Uxbridge,
Bowmanville, Newcastle, Orono, Beaverton, Sunderland and Cannington.
The Ontario Energy Board recently approved an application that will
allow Veridian to expand into Belleville.
