2011 Heritage Day Celebration
The
Pickering Advisory Committee on Diversity presents its annual
Heritage Day Celebration on Saturday, February 26, 2011 starting at
approximately 11:00 am at the Pickering Town Centre (centre court).
Welcoming remarks with local dignitaries takes place at 1:30 pm.
The Heritage Day Celebration is a dynamic event that celebrates
Pickering’s rich heritage and cultural diversity. Visitors are
both entertained and informed by the myriad of dance and musical
performances as well as interactive displays.
In this Bicentennial Year, the Pickering Advisory Committee on
Diversity is proud to host the Heritage Day Celebration – an event
that brings the community together by celebrating our differences.
