Corporate Services Department Internal Audit Section The Internal Audit Section plays an important role in ensuring financial accountability by providing objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve City processes and operations. It performs audits and reviews of various programs and business processes, conducts special investigations, responds to requests from the CAO and the Director, Corporate Services & Treasurer, and provides advice and guidance to Divisions in the implementation of new or existing processes and systems.
