The Human Resources Division is a full service division with a staffing complement of five full-time staff and delivers the following portfolio of services and programs:

• an internal consultancy service in the area of management / employee issues
• labour relations including union contract and grievance administration as well as collective bargaining
• human resource policy development and implementation
• centralized recruitment and career counselling (job advertising, job interviewing, testing, selection, reference checking, coordination of employment medicals & criminal reference checking, and offers of employment)
• salary and benefits administration, employee orientation and retirement counselling
• job analysis, job description maintenance, job evaluation and compensation surveys
• Long Term Disability and Workplace Safety & Insurance Benefits claims administration, including return to work programs and workplace accommodation
• personnel record keeping / human resource information system
• health, safety and corporate training
• Employee & Family Assistance Program
• human rights and cultural diversity issues
• Workplace Harassment Policy administration
