2011 Civic Award Nominations

Pickering, ON, Thursday, January 5, 2012.  The City of Pickering invites the community to nominate a deserving individual, group, organization or business for a 2011 Civic Award.
 
City of Pickering will be presenting Civic Awards to members of the community who have made a significant contribution to the City of Pickering during 2011.
 
Civic Awards are the City of Pickering’s highest honour.  This awards program recognizes the contributions of individuals, groups, businesses and local organizations who have exemplified outstanding service and achievements in our community.  All recipients are nominated by community members and determined by a Committee of Council.
 
Nomination categories include:

Bravery/Heroism Award
Lifetime Achievement Award
Individual Volunteer Award

Amateur Sports Award
Youth Volunteer Award

The deadline to submit a Civic Award Nomination to the City of Pickering’s Customer Care Centre is Thursday, February 9, 2012 at 4:00 pm.
