Civic Awards
People Recognizing One Another – Nominations due February
There are many people and
organizations performing thoughtful and impressive work in the
City of Pickering and we want to give them some well-deserved
recognition. Civic Awards provide an opportunity for us to tell
one another about some of the great work done in 2007 within the
City of Pickering that has made a difference. It's about the
community, identifying and nominating the people and projects we
value.
Civic Awards acknowledge & recognize leadership, volunteer
effort in the community, individual and group achievements, the
big and the small contributions. Civic Awards recognize
individuals and groups who have given back to our community
through generosity and active participation. It is one way the
City of Pickering acknowledges the important contribution that
individuals and organizations make to build a strong community.
