P.A. Day Heritage
Camp !
Caught by surprise by the
upcoming P.A. Day on May 16, and wondering what to do about the
children while you’re at work? The City of Pickering has the
ideal solution! Register now for the Culture & Recreation
Division’s P.A. Day Heritage Camp! Space is limited, so don’t
delay.
Pickering Museum Village, offers
a full day of activities and games all with a heritage flavour
that will ensure your child has a fun P.A. Day. Imagine the
thrills that await a child on a beautiful May day. Outdoor play
has never been so fun, as children try hopscotch, old fashioned
baseball, and some gardening, too. Spring also means hand-made
butter on freshly baked bread, warm off the griddle. And spring
means making and flying kites! There are tons of activities to
amuse girls and boys, so sign your child up for a day to play in
the past.
Children must be between the ages
of 5 and 12. The camp runs from 9:00 am to 3:15 pm, with an
Extend-a-Camp option at an additional cost for parents who need
to drop off their children as early as 7:00 am and pick them up
as late as 6:00 pm. Campers must be dropped off and picked up at
the Pickering Museum Village, conveniently located 3 km east of
Brock Road, just off Hwy #7.
Registration for the City of
Pickering’s programs has never been so easy, and there are 6
