If you’re looking for a unique way
to pamper Mom this Mother’s Day, Pickering Museum Village has
the solution for you! Bring her and the family to our first
Mother’s Day Tea on Sunday, May 11, 2008. Stroll through the
beautiful surroundings of the Museum Village among its many
heritage buildings, and admire the budding foliage and flowers.
Then relax in our Redman House Program Centre and enjoy a
delicious meal that harkens back to a gentler and more gracious
era.
Two sittings are available: 12:00
pm until 1:30 pm, and 2:00 pm until 3:30 pm. The menu includes a
variety of savoury finger sandwiches, scones with butter and

dipped in chocolate, and tea and lemonade. There will be a small
token at the table for each mother who attends.
The cost for the meal is
$15/person. Space is limited, and pre-registration is required.
