Youth SNOW
Removal Program
Are you between the ages of 13 and
19 and looking for some community service hours for high school
or just looking to volunteer some of your time? If you enjoy
spending time outdoors in the winter and are available to help
some of our local seniors access their homes this winter, give
us a call. We need you to help shovel driveways and walkways for
seniors in the Pickering community, who are not able to do it
themselves.
Call 905.420.2370 to sign up
today! We will match you up with a senior in your area. Each
time it snows, you will be expected to help shovel their drive
or walkway so that they can get access to the services that they
need on a daily basis. In return you will receive community
service hours for school or maybe even a monetary amount (as
agreed upon by the senior).
We do require a copy of your
criminal reference check, so please ensure you have an
up-to-date version. Be sure to sign up today! We already have
seniors on the list and no youth to assist!
