City of Pickering, Youth Programs Want To Hear From You

Pickering, ON, July 23, 2010 - Pickering teens should be careful what they wish for. Tell the staff at Free Teen Stuff what you want - you may just get it. The ideas for free makeover workshops, skateboarding competitions, Coffee House, Band Night and Guys Only all came from local Pickering Teens. Now, during the months of July and August, the City of Pickering Free Teen Stuff Programmers are presenting a contest to collect ideas from Pickering teens (ages 13 - 19 years).

If you have a good idea, send your questions, comments , suggestions or new ideas about Free Teen Programs and Events and you could win yourself a City of Pickering Free Teen Prize Pack which includes a ton a great SWAG plus a chance to be featured in some of our promotional flyers, online on our website page, facebook and twitter, along with the usual “that was my idea” bragging rights. Ready to enter? Ballot boxes are located at Petticoat Creek Community Centre and East Shore Community Centre. You can add your question, comment or idea to facebook by searching Pickering Free Teen Stuff, or email lslovick@cityofpickering.com. Contest closes September 1 @ 4:30 pm.
