Excellent Beachfront Park! The Toronto Star conducted an unscientific survey of the parkland in Toronto and the surrounding regions. The results of that survey were reported in the June 4th edition of this newspaper. Most GTA parks surveyed are in good shape. Pickering Beachfront Park received an overall rating of A. Under cleanliness this park rated 5, lawn care 4, playground equipment 5, and facilities 4. Beachfront Park is located at the south end of Liverpool Road. Facilities include a lakeside children's Splash Pad play area, 2 Beach ball Volleyball Courts, 1 Creative Play unit (2 - 5 years old), 1 Creative Play unit (6 - 12 years old), seating and Lake Ontario views, picnicking areas and a lakeside boardwalk.
