Pickering Recreation Complex
Voted # 1 Best Sport and Recreation Club

On Monday, April 3, 2006, Nick Trantos, Supervisor of the Pickering Business Times and Durham Trade and Commerce Magazine awarded the Pickering Recreation Complex with the 2005 Reader's Choice Award for Best Sport and Recreation Club in Durham Region. Mayor David Ryan and Tom Quinn, Chief Administrative Officer accepted the award on behalf of the Pickering Recreation Complex.

Each year the Durham Business Times conducts the Reader's Choice Awards to recognize local businesses and groups for their achievements and overall success.

Readers from across Durham Region are encouraged to vote for the organizations they believe have met or exceeded expectations and surpassed standards such as cleanliness, customer service and quality throughout the year.

The people have spoken and the Pickering Recreation Complex has received the honor of being the Best Sport and Recreation Club in Durham Region.
