Senior of the Year Award
From the Ministry Responsible for Seniors

On Friday, September 29, 2006, MPP Pickering-Ajax-Uxbridge, Wayne Arthurs, visited the East Shore Community Centre to present Pat Tranquada with the 2006 Senior of the Year Award on behalf of the Ministry Responsible for Seniors.

In June 2006 Pat received the award from Mayor David Ryan on behalf of the City of Pickering however the City also receives a certificate from the Ministry to present to the senior selected for the award. Family and friends joined Pat at the ceremony and reception held in September to celebrate the honour.

Congratulations once again go to Pat Tranquada, City of Pickering's Senior of the Year!
