Pickering Values Your Input
The Customer Care Feedback program
was developed as a result of ongoing interaction with members of
the public. We recognized the need to make available increased
methods of contact with our ratepayers, to provide opportunities
to communicate more effectively with municipal employees. The
Customer Care Feedback program involves several initiatives. A
convenient Website Survey form can be accessed at
cityofpickering.com. Comment Cards are currently available at the
Civic Complex and the Pickering Recreation Complex. Resident
responses to the phrases "How did we do today?" and
"Help us Measure and Enhance our Service", are vital to
the overall success of the Feedback Program. Ongoing feedback will
provide our staff with an opportunity to review results and make
appropriate changes to our service delivery. Your input is vital
to the success of the program.
The City of Pickering's Customer
Care Centre is located on the main floor of the Civic Complex, at
One The Esplanade, and is easily accessible. Under the direct
authority of the Office of the Chief Administrative Officer, the
Centre provides an important link between members of the public,
the Mayor, Members of Council, and City of Pickering municipal
departments.
Staff in the Customer Care Centre
ensure that matters are thoroughly investigated, and that all
enquiries/concerns receive an initial response within one business
day. Municipal staff are always happy to hear from our
residents, and welcome the opportunity to enhance our
service level through the implementation of the Feedback Program.
In addition to telephoning and emailing the Centre, residents are
welcome to visit us in person. Staff will be pleased to discuss
any enquiries or concerns you may have. Your input is
valued!
The City's Chief Administrative
Officer Thomas J. Quinn states: "We are quite enthusiastic
about the prospect of providing our community stakeholders with as
many opportunities as possible to make their compliments and
concerns known to us. This information will be used as a valuable
tool which will enable us to enhance our service delivery. The
