The EcoKids website is an awesome place to find activities. This page helps you learn to identify different kinds of trees.

Grow-A-Tree Program
http://www.trees4life.ca/grow_a_tree.htm

Tell your teacher about this program your whole class—even your whole school—can get involved in. It's fun to plant trees, it's good for us since trees release oxygen for us to breathe, and it's good for the environment too!

Billy Bear's Fun with Animals and Wildlife
http://www.billybear4kids.com/animal/scoop.htm

What would a community be without animals and wildlife? Probably pretty boring! This site has games, desktop goodies, activities to print (remember to print on both sides of the page), animal photos, and cool information about all kinds of critters. Be sure to check out the 'Hummers at My Window' page for a food mix you can put in hummingbird feeders to attract these unique birds.

Tree Canada

The Tree Canada website has lots of information about trees, including an interactive exploration of Canadian trees and a description of each provincial and territorial tree. There's a section for teachers, too.
