Discounts
Where there are three or more children in the same family taking part in THE SAME PROGRAM, the third and subsequent children will be charged half price. Please take discount off lower priced program.
This does not apply to memberships at the Recreation Complex as a 20 percent family rate applies to these memberships. It also does not apply to Aquatic Certification Programs.
Persons with disabilities and Senior Citizens (65+) are also eligible for a 50 percent reduction in fee, except where programs are specifically designated for such.
Annual Discount:  When paying in full, each person will receive 2 months free.
All discounts must be deducted by the applicants at the time of registration.

Waiting Lists
If you cannot be accommodated in any of your selections, your name will be added to the waiting list for your 1st choice only.

Non-Pickering Residents Information
Processing of registration forms of non-Pickering residents commences approximately two weeks after delivery of the brochure.

Registration
Submission of registration applications does not necessarily mean acceptance in the requested program. The Division will send out confirmation of the enrolment. If you have not received the confirmation two days prior to the commencement of the program, please call 905.420.4621 for verbal confirmation.
A $5.00 administration fee will be charged per family per request to obtain a second copy of a registration confirmation or receipt.

Refunds or Transfers
A FULL REFUND… If the program you choose is cancelled. The Division reserves the right to cancel programs due to insufficient registration. Cash registrations will be refunded by cheque.
All requests for refunds must be made in writing. A $10.00 administration fee plus a user fee will be deducted from all approved refunds.

Changes or transfers will only be accepted prior to the second regularly scheduled class, and a fee of $10.00 will be charged (incorrect code information entered on the application form will be considered a "CHANGE" and a $10.00 fee will be charged to make the correction).

Program Cancellations
Program cancellations due to emergencies or bad weather will be broadcast over KX96 FM radio (Ajax) and CKDO AM radio (Oshawa). Programs will not operate on statutory holidays. Watch for weekly updates of closures/cancellations on the City of Pickering Community Page in the News Advertiser.

NSF or "Unpaid" Cheques
A $20.00 fee will be charged for each NSF or unpaid cheque returned from the bank to the City of Pickering.

The registration forms have been designed to allow more than one participant per family to register for programs on the same form (except camp registration form).
Please fill in all required information to ensure that you are placed in the correct program.

Please ensure that Credit Card numbers and expiry date are recorded on the Registration Form.

• One cheque per program
• Indicate codes correctly
• List alternate choices
• Do not cut off unused portion
• Date post dated cheques 2 weeks prior to the program start date
• During the Brochure delivery period applications are accepted and a random processing system is utilized at the end of this period, date order thereafter.
