Tour Planning

Tour Times usually run from 9:45 am to 11:45 am and 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm. If these are not appropriate for your needs, in most cases they can be modified.

Arrival we ask that you try to arrive approximately 15 minutes before your tour begins. This allows time to organize groupings, handle payments, etc. rather than cutting into your tour time.

Lunches can be stored while you are on tour and picked up at noon. We have several picnic areas for your use. Inside areas are available in the event of inclement weather. We encourage classes to bring garbageless lunches. No snack bar is available.

Restrooms are located in the Village at the rear of Brougham Hotel, as well as in the Robert A. Miller Building.
Come prepared as many of the activities take place outside.  It is important that visitors wear clothing appropriate for the weather conditions and wear comfortable shoes.

The Museum Shop is available at noon-hour and at the end of your tour, at the teacher's discretion.
Handicapped access efforts have been made to make the buildings and facilities wheelchair accessible. Because it is an historic site, ramps will not necessarily be readily noticeable. Please ask your guide/instructor.
