Summer Tea Series
Register today for your group to enjoy a private themed tea.
Or book tea with your Saturday tour. Your group can
add Afternoon Summer Tea during July & August in the Redmond
House program centre to your tour. Served from 1:00 pm -
4:00 pm, tea comes complete with tea or lemonade, a scone
with jam and heritage baked goods. Book your tea at
time of admission for only $7 per person.

History in Action
Come experience history in action! Different interactive
heritage demonstrations each week, including wool-dyeing,
blacksmithing, butter churning, weaving, ice cream making,
heritage cooking over a hearth or wood stove and more. Free
with admission.
Harvest Suppers
Available for only 2 days each August. Harvest Suppers
transport participants back to the time of Pickering’s
earliest settlers. This delicious meal consists of authentic
cuisine prepared at and served in the newly restored
Brougham Temperance House. Reserve your place at the table.

Christmas in the Village
Visit the museum village as it springs to life with the
inhabitants of the houses busily preparing for their holiday
celebrations. Includes Scottish Hogmanay, Welsh traditions
Victorian English Christmas celebrations, and Squire Jonathan’s
Christmas Ball. Backwoods Players presents The Duffins Creek
Sunday School Pageant free with admission.
