Karina, Youth Leader and PAC 4 Teens President
In addition to being one of our youth staff, Karina also is the president of the Pickering Activity Council 4 Teens (PAC 4 Teens).
  Semica, Youth Leader and Coordinator
Semica can be found working at St. Mary’s basketball program or Girls Only at Petticoat Creek. Semica is currently attending Humber College and is in her final year of the Child and Youth Worker Program. Semica has competed in several pageants such as: 2007 Miss Queen of the Islands Canada, 2007 Miss Caribbean Tourism Pageant, 2008 Miss Canada Globe National Pageant and 2009Miss Tourism Canada. In the Summer of 2009, Semica travelled to Greece, where she competed in the Miss Tourism Planet Pageant. Proudly she is the first Canadian as well as first African American to place in the top three, as the 2nd Runner-Up for this pageant!
 
 
 
 
Skye, Youth Coordinator
Skye has been working with the City of Pickering for 6 years and is currently in her final year at York University as sociology major. Skye also works at City of Pickering Summer Camps.
 
 
 
Leslie, Coordinator, Youth Leadership Programs
Leslie has been working for us in the youth programs since January 2007. She has completed her Degree in Arts at York University and has obtained a diploma in Early Childhood Education at George Brown College. In Jan 2008, Leslie moved to Australia to attend teachers college. After her graduation in November 2008, Leslie traveled around south east Asia till June 2009.
 
  Neil, Youth Leader and Coordinator
Neil has worked with the City of Pickering since he was 16. He has been involved with the summer camp program as a camp counsellor, pre-teen dances, and special events, such as Canada Day. He attended high school at Pine Ridge Secondary School and has recently graduated from the Pre-Service Firefighter course at Durham College. He was recently hired by Canadian television station YTV to film a series of magic based commercials promoting several television shows and movies. These commercials can be seen every week day on YTV’s “Big Fun Weeknights” for the next year.
 
 
 
 
Jeff, Youth Coordinator
Jeff has worked in the youth department for almost ten years. When Jeff is not working at youth programs he is travelling the world break dancing and promoting his clothing company.
 
  Sarah F, Youth Leader and Coordinator
Sarah has been working for the City for about 6 years working at Pre-Teens and Summer Camp; Sarah is completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. She regularly works at the Hideout at PCCC. She also teaches the Youth Ball Hockey Program.
 
 
 
 
Jenny, Youth Coordinator
When Jenny is not working at our Youth Programs she is working as a Personal Trainer at a local gym. Jenny often works basketball program at Pine Ridge S.S.
 
 
 
Josh, Youth Leader and Coordinator
Josh is in his second year at Durham College studying Multimedia Design. Josh has been involved in the Youth Ball Hockey program and regularly works basketball programs.
 
 
 
Sogol, Youth Leader
When Sogol is not working at our Youth Programs she is attending Ryerson University, in her second year of completing a bachelor in commerce. In her free time Sogol loves to shop, tan and watch movies. Her Favourite colour is yellow which represents positivity.
 
  Lauren, Youth Coordinator
Lauren has been working for the City of Pickering for over 7 years. She has been involved in summer camps, special events, and the youth programs. Lauren can be found working at a variety of our youth programs as well as running our Girls Night paid program for ages 10-12.
 
 
  Amanda, Youth Leader and Coordinator
Amanda Morra has been working for the City for 5 years. She is a graduate of St. Mary C.S.S, where she has won two OFSAA golds and two OFSAA silvers for hockey. She graduated Queen's University with a degree in Physical and Health Education, Life Sciences and Education. While at Queens she played for the Varsity Hockey Team. She enjoys playing and watching all sports, and plays hockey, soccer and ultimate frisbee at the competitive level. Challenge her to a sport, she would love to take you on!
 
 
 
 
Evangeline, Youth Coordinator
Evangeline has been working with the City for over 7 years, but this is her first year with the Free Teen Programs. Before this, she has worked at the Pickering Museum Village, created and directed Pioneer Camp and currently coordinates the Youth Dances. Evangeline has just graduated from York University this spring and will hopefully be teaching in the fall!
 
 
 
 
Sarah O, Youth Leader
Sarah has been working for the City for over one year. In her free time Sarah enjoys photography, traveling, concerts and hanging out with her friends. In September Sarah will start her first year at The University of Guelph-Humber for media studies.
 
  Jordanne, Youth Coordinator
Jordanne can usually be found working the Girls Only Programs Thursday Nights. She is a third year student at the University of Toronto studying Neuroscience and Mental Health. Outside of school, I enjoy working in the field of Youth Culture and Recreation. I have worked as a Camp Counsellor for the City and I also work as one of the Coordinators for the Girls Only Program held at PCCC. I find interacting with youth fun and I enjoy coming to work every day and providing our community with resources that can greatly benefit youth.
 
 
  Danielle, Youth Leader and PAC 4 Teens Member
Danielle is in grade 11 at St. Mary's C.S.S. At the moment you can find her working Thursdays at the girls only program at petticoat creek community centre. She loves meeting new people and trying new things. Her favourite colours are blue and neon green and she likes to listen to music and just hang out with her friends.
 
 
 
 
Kevin, Youth Coordinator and Leader
Kevin has been working for the City for the past three years. He is often scheduled to work the basketball programs. In his free time he enjoys baseball, gaming, and playing different instruments. Kevin is currently studying radio broadcasting at Humber college.
 
 
 

Yvonne, Youth Coordinator and Leader
Yvonne has been working with the City of Pickering since she was 16, working anything from summer camps to senior events. She is going into her 3rd year of University at Trent, becoming an English/French high school teacher. She also works for the City at the Pre-teen dances, special events, and this summer is looking forward to a new experience at Youth Camps!
